Heat Treatment Technician

**Heat Treater**

**We are looking for experianced heat treaters to join our small but, growing company to assist in the heat treatment of machined, fabricated, cast and forged parts.**
- **This role will include;**_
- Assisting in and carring out heat treatment
- General house keeping / cleaning
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Cutting and measuring
- loading / unloading furnaces
- Operating machinery such as hotwash, heat treatment furnaces, cryo freezers, etc
- Loading / unloading trucks
- Use of overhead cranes
- Hardness testing and reporting

Metalert has a great working environment, we are in a stage of expansion in a niche industry treating critical parts from mining and power generation, to railway and locomotive.

**-Experiance is required to be considered for this role.**

**Forklift ticket is a must**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Carrington, NSW 2294: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- heat treatment: 1 year (preferred)
