**Who are Kings Domain ?**

Founded 10 years ago in South Yarra, Kings Domain combines traditional barbering techniques and modern hairdressing, there are now seven Kings Domain store across Melbourne:

- Prahran
- South yarra
- Richmond
- Collingwood
- Armadale
- Rialto Towers
- Collins St.

In 2021 the Kings Domain Academy was opened in Collingwood. The Academy that runs within one of our barber shops is underpinned by a culture that breeds passionate people for their professional career and personal journey.

This in-house training program is well above industry standards, created to ensure all staff aren’t just appropriately skilled in cutting hair, but also in providing exceptional customer service.

Aligned with our mission to provide quality training that improves the overall standard of the barbering industry. We are constantly innovating the way we teach to ensure we are able to get the most out of each individual, setting them up to create their own mark on the industry.

**Kings Domain Apprenticeships look like**:

- Receiving practical training from industries best barbers and educators.
- Getting on the job training, working alongside some of Melbourne’s barbers, as a crucial member of the Kings Domain team.
- Completing a Certificate III in barbering whilst developing your customer service and leadership skills.
- Training at the Kings Domain Academy in Collingwood once a week.
- Preparing the shop for the day.
- Managing your own column and building a clientele at the Kings Domain Academy
- Maintaining the presentation of the shop and assisting.
- Being the first point of contact for clients.
- Taking bookings, on the phone and in person.
- Ensuring clients receive the Kings Domain experience, including basin service, station prep and preparing hot and cold drinks.
- Utilising Point of Sale card system and processing payments.
- Contributing to the positive culture of the team, where everyone is always willing to help out and we want to do this in a professional, fun and friendly environment where everyone feels welcome.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24,528.00 - $39,289.67 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:
