**Road & Workshop Technician - Sunshine Coast**

We provide repair of audiovisual and consumer electronics on the Sunshine Coast. We work mainly on Televisions, Monitors, Video Projectors, DVD Player/Recorder, PVR, Home Theatre Systems, AV Receivers, Speakers, Vacuum Cleaners and Microwaves. We are a family owned company that has been operating since 1975.

We deal with a wide range of new and older technologies being authorized service agents for LG, Samsung, Epson, Yamaha & Panasonic. We also provide repairs to products under extended warranty care through most major retailers in our region. A solid background knowledge of current consumer products would be required.

We are a small but effective team providing service to the Sunshine Coast, Hinterland and Gympie regions with work being carried out in the customers home and workshop.

We are looking for an experienced appliance & electronics repair technician to join our team based in the Maroochydore area.
- Your duties will include but not be limited to -_
- Assessing and diagnosing faults to consumer electronics
- Providing technical support, usage and maintenance advice
- Completing repairs as per best available evidence including manufacturers specifications
- Attending service calls in the community on consumer appliances as per daily run sheet.
- Successfully completing allocated repair jobs in workshop
- Dealing with customers and providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring all appliance, repair information and parts usage are documented
- Completing all administration duties
- Working effectively with our team and updating other members on jobs as needed

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Current Driver's License
- Demonstrated electrical aptitude
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Effectively working in a team
- Willingness to learn from those around you and share your skills and knowledge
- Formal Qualifications (Electronics & Communication) - _Desirable or_
- Certificate III - Appliance Servicing Certificate - _Desirable _
- Minimum **2 **years experience in appliance repairs - _Desirable _

Service involves working individually out on the road and in the workshop. An ability to work independently with a solid understanding of the various products repaired is essential.

A high standard of computer knowledge is required as all service manuals and parts information are web based. In addition a large number of units require firmware upgrades that require computer operation.

This role will require direct contact with our customers so an energetic and positive attitude is required.

Relevant qualifications in electronic repair are required and evidence will be requested.

The successful applicant must be aware that this is not a training position, so previous experience in this role would be required. Specific job training will be given in regards to our in-house systems and procedures.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
