Stonemason Labourer

We are looking for someone to assist our team as a stonemason. No previous experience is required, but an existing white card is required & you will be required to start 4th November.

A typical day involves assisting in loading stone slabs onto the truck and then installing them primarily in new build homes, with some joinery work involved (you will not be required to drive).
- **Ability to Lift Heavy Stone Slabs**: You should be able to assist in lifting stone slabs up to 200 kg. You will not be constantly lifting, and the carrying distance is typically short. Confidence, caution, and clear communication during lifting are essential.
- **Attention to Detail**: Our team prides itself on providing the most precise installation possible.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Each house will be different, and you may need to use problem-solving skills to ensure the stone is installed to the best of our ability.
- **Reliability**: We’re a small team, so we need someone who will consistently show up and complete tasks in a professional manner.
- **Self-Motivated**: You should have the initiative to complete work in a timely manner without constant guidance.

**Working Hours**: Approximately 38 hours some overtime may be required. Starting 7:30am

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
