**Retail Supervisor - Uniform Shop**

**Permanent Part Time (Term Time Plus)**

**Includes some school holiday weeks**

**Approximately 42 weeks per year**

**Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday - 8.15am-4.15pm**

**The Retail Supervisor - Uniform Shop** manages the daily operations of our School Uniform Shop. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their school year with uniforms and accessories. This role is during school term dates plus requires work in the holidays; prior to commencement of the school year and to oversee stocktakes.

**About You**:We are looking for a professional with strong communication and organisational skills, a warm disposition and demonstrated experience working in Retail in a supervisory or managerial position.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail, with supervisory or managerial experience essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to assist a diverse customer base, including parents, students and staff
- Friendly, approachable and patient leader
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods
- Proficiency with point of sales systems, online sales platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Familiarity with retail operations, stock management and sales techniques
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- This role must be performed on school campus due to front facing customer service element with students and staff
- Occasional work on weekends and school holidays as needed for school year lead-up and also stocktake requirements
- Must be able to satisfy the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing and lifting

The successful applicant must hold a valid paid Blue Card and be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
