Mosman Nanny

Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: Long Term/Permanent
- Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking a fun-loving,caring and attentive nanny to assist a professional family in Mosman. The nanny will be responsible for caring for a happy and social 17 month old baby girl.

**The days and normal hours are 2- 3 days -(Flexible)**

Ideally Tuesday -Thursday 8.30-4.30

Additional hours can be offered occasionally at evenings and weekends if the nanny is available

An ideal nanny will be nurturing, fun-loving and caring with a happy, bubbly personality.

An energetic and dynamic nanny who is focused on early childhood development and has a genuine love of children and can dedicate their time to the baby and enhance her learning on a daily basis allowing her to explore the world. The nanny will need to follow the baby's routine and assist with some light household duties and meal prep relating to the baby only.

The family is looking for a nanny who adapts well, is responsible/safe, reliable, trustworthy and can commit to the role on a long term basis, building a lovely relationship with their little girl.

**The carer’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows -**
- Care for the baby
- Provide routine and structure
- Provide age appropriate activities (plan, engage, play)
- Take the baby out to activities and for walks/park/playground etc, swimming etc.
- Assist with light household duties -Mainly clearing up after the baby, toys and books back into their respective places, wiping off highchair after meals and washing the dishes
- Prep and cook meals and snacks for the baby

**The family’s expectations from their nanny are -**
- 3 years + experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualification (Preferred but not essential)
- Have a current first aid certificate
- Have a current working with children’s check number
- Young baby/Toddler experience
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- bonus if you also speak French but not essential.
- To be fit, healthy and active
- Non smoking
- Basic cooking skills
- Able to swim
