Allied Health 2U is currently seeking a Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join their team on part time basis. You will be part of a rapidly growing team consisting of multiple disciplines (counsellors, psychotherapists, podiatrists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists) that are passionate and dedicated to bettering the lives of others. **Key Responsibilities**:
**As a Counsellor/psychotherapist, you will**:

- Provide one-on-one counselling for adults and /or children
- Work with clients experiencing a range of needs such as complex mental health issues, physical disabilities or every day issues.
- Complete case notes and administrative records for each session;
- Complete some sessions during home visits, where assessed as appropriate; and in clinic settings
- The role will involve providing behaviour support under the NDIS where suited to the clinicians niche
- Be confident and able to manage your own time efficiently
- Develop and maintain contact with other agencies for the purposes of referral, networking and promotion of services;
- Liaise with other Allied Health team members regarding case management
- Take part in team meetings and supervision

**Key Requirements**:
To be successful in the role of a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, you will:

- Demonstrate a passion for continuing to learn and grow in both clinical and non-clinical perspective.
- Demonstrate willingness to progress your career from a clinical perspective if required
- Strong written communication skills
- Be able to work independently
- Be confident in your role while being open to feedback
- Have current registration with a professional body e.g. PACFA, ACA etc
- Have a current driver's license and your own car
- Have current professional Indemnity Insurance, a Working With Children Check and a National Criminal Record Check
