**About BaptistCare Bethshan Gardens Aged Care Facility**

Wyee is a picturesque town in the Lake Macquarie region of New South Wales, surrounded by lakes, close to beaches and near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Bethshan Gardens consists of 134 beds.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Residential Manager, Bethshan Centre is seeking experienced Carers to join their team on a permanent part-time basis. If you’re reliable, motivated and passionate about caring for older people, we would love to hear from you.

Duties may include:

- Assistance with a wide range of person-centered care in accordance with care plans
- Assistance with medication
- Simple wound dressing
- Assistance with activities under supervision
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love

**Skills & experience**
- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee (desired)
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable or a willingness to obtain
- Willingness to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance
- We encourage Nursing students to apply
