A key role within AgXtra has become available due to business expansion. Based on the Yorke Peninsula, the Technical Officer will provide technical assistance to research field trials. This opportunity would suit someone with a strong understanding of Australian broadacre agriculture.

Reporting to the YP Hub Manager, you will plan and prepare for all aspects of trial planning, establishment, data collection, reporting and agronomic management. You will execute tasks in line with client & internal requirements and in accordance with AgXtra operating procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

- Establishing & maintaining effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Trial operations, which are to be conducted efficiently & in strict accordance with protocols & AgXtra SOP’s.
- Contribute to the production of scientific outcomes of the highest standard & rigour.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in the conduct of applied research trials in broadacre crops and have an understanding of crop production and agronomy. Someone who has strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and a strong work ethic would suit this role.
