Maxima, on behalf of our client, is seeking an experienced **Waste And Recycling Team Member** to join their team Dedicated to ensuring excellence in all that they do with high levels of job satisfaction & quality in the service they provide.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diverting and presenting waste items for sale at the Recycling Market.
- Directing customers at waste and recycling facility to the appropriate disposal locations.
- Directing traffic away from plant and machinery when they are in operation in publicly accessible areas to maintain exclusion zones.
- Collaborating with plant operators to compact waste bin disposal bins and waste stockpiles around the site.
- Proactively communicating through radio provided at the respective waste and recycling facilities. Reporting any hazards incident or incident / near misses observed to supervisors at the sites.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Ability to pass pre-employment functional assessment.
- Possess a current driver’s licence. Possession of a current forklift licence and/or other heavy machinery licence would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to read signs and documents including safety signs, operating procedures and manuals and a demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Well-developed customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate with people at all levels and make prompt and reliable decisions within the bounds of allocated responsibility.
- Available for a 7 day roster
