**The Hospital**:
This is Australia's second oldest hospital opening in 1804, and is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.
**The Role**:
The hospital are looking for an experienced Registrar with experience and an interest in Geriatric Medicine. This is a fully accredited training facility with 5 BPT Registrars on staff at any one time.
The Aged Care Department is accredited for 2 Advanced Trainee positions, each of 12 months duration.
