About the Role
We are currently seeking professional, well presented security personnel to work as Court Security Officers at the Victorian County Court in Melbourne central business district. Shifts can span from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6.30pm, with Full Time positions available with prompt start
**Duties within this role will include**:
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service to all that enter the facility
- Conducting screening including use of the x-ray, metal detectors and physical searches
- Roving security patrols within and external to the building
- Conflict resolution and negotiation
- Managing access control systems
- Writing detailed and accurate reports
- Monitor and respond within court rooms
**Please note**: You must be available to complete a 4 week fully paid, full time training program that is completed on the job.
**Essential Criteria**:
- A current Victorian Security Licence
- Minimum of Certificate II in Security Operations
- Level II First Aid accreditation and CPR Qualification
