**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Team Member Cleansing Crew will ensure Council’s local government area is maintained to a level that meets the communities expectations through a quick response program utilising the industries best practice. Your responsibilities will include town centre cleansing, general gardening tasks and street and laneway cleaning.

The successful applicant will require:

- A minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance duties
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with peers, customers and community organisations and an ability to work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus with sound customer service skills and the ability to embrace a system of change and continual improvement.
- Current Medium Rigid(MR) driver’s licence.
- Be able to operate multiple cleansing plant (high pressure units, blowers)
- Current Traffic Control Work Training Card
- General Construction Induction Card (White card)

**Position information**: This is a permanent, full-time position, working a 70 hour fortnight, with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement. The hours of work will be based on a three (3) shift pattern of morning, afternoon and night shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm, 10:30am to 7pm and 9pm to 5:30am.

This position will be located at Council's Auburn and Guildford Depots, with occasional travel required across Council worksites and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations.

**Salary information**:The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 4 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $984.61 to $1,132.30 per week, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
