**Premier Care **are leaders in effectively managing clients with challenging behaviours. We specialize in Traumatic Brain Injuries, Acquired Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries and Mental Health, as well as Aged Care.

We are currently looking for Support Workers with experience in providing assistance to people living in the community setting. Work is available in **all areas of Sydney.**

Work is available in
- **Blackheath**:

- **Lower Blue Mountains**

**Criteria**:

- Be willing to Completed a NDIS Worker Check, and Working with Children Check
- Have excellent communication skills and written skills
- Be energetic and show enthusiasm, initiative, a positive attitude and empathetic
- Be team focused and committed to achieving excellence in the disability field
- Flexibility in working with a variety of clients
- An understanding of Work Health Safety issues.
- Ability to work flexibly and be reliable and punctual

**Essential**:

- MUST HAVE A CURRENT FULL NSW DRIVERS LICENSE
- Current First Aid certificate
- Recent Working with Children's Check (mandatory)
- NDIS worker check (Mandatory prior to commencement)
- Have own vehicle and mobile phone and ability to drive around Sydney

**Desirable**:

- Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability Care or Home and Community Care or equivalent experience
- Experience working with people from CALD backgrounds and/or people with complex needs
- Experience in supporting people with challenging behaviours
- Ability to speak a second language
- Bowel Care Experience
- Hoist Experience
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackheath NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

**Language**:

- Any other language (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver License and Vehicle (required)

- Australia (preferred)
