Our client's platform allows their customers to build, moderate and run customised live, virtual and hybrid events in one place. The power of the platform comes from its versatility. Companies can build an event platform easily through their dashboard without the need for coding, however, using custom HTML & CSS through the CMS our client can customise the look and feel of their platform to mirror any style or brand. This makes our client the go-to company for some of the world’s biggest companies.

**About the role**:
Our client is seeking a top-performing General Manager who has extensive experience in team leadership, revenue growth and process improvement. You will be known for your strategic relationship management experience, ability to execute on transformational go-to market strategies within a B2B model.

**What you will do**:

- Contribute strategically, providing input towards the sales process and strategy on how to expand the business across the APAC Market
- Build and effectively manage the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting via data and reports
- Generate new demand, revenue and profit to achieve and exceed sales targets via new and existing strategic partnerships
- Manage prospective customer relationships through all phases of the sales cycle
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Business Development Managers
- Work collaboratively with the UK, acting as a critical stakeholder, providing market insight, reporting customers feedback and competitor analysis to assist in product development
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

**About you**:

- Solid experience in a sales leadership role; developing strategies, direct people management; events industry or, high-growth tech startup/saas experience is preferred
- Can clearly demonstrate previous success in growing a business into new territories
- Demonstrable and proven record of target achievement and sales success
- You display a bias towards action, and able to adapt well to change
- You have a growth mindset and continuously seek out opportunities to innovate and improve
- Present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels, including executive level
- Demonstrable experience in developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Desire to constantly improve and develop yourself and your team
- Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach and manage performance effectively

**What's on offer?**

Our client's office is based in Sydney, however given the business is a remote first company it means your place of work can be your home address of wherever you wish to choose.

A package of $170,000 - 220,000 + bonus will be on offer (depending on experience).
