**The Position**

**St John of God Bendigo Hospital **is a private hospital located in central Victoria. St John of God Health Care acquired Mt Alvernia Mercy Hospital in February 2005, renaming it St John of God Bendigo Hospital. The private hospital services the City of Bendigo and Central Victoria.
- We are currently looking for experienced
- **Instrument Technicians - Grade 3** who can work as a member of the operating team and be responsible for cleaning duties and instrument cleaning duties within the Theatre Complex. It is expected from the Grade 3 Instrument Technician to be in-charge at times when the manager is not available.
- Relevant education in sterilising technology will be viewed favourably._
- Positions are offered on a permanent part time basis, working 60 hours per fortnight.

- Ability to use initiative, demonstrate reliability and thereby require mínimal supervision and guidance.
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn instrument management.
- Has an understanding of Infection Control principles and practice.
