**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Management**:

- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the bakery, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Oversee production and maintain high quality standards for all baked goods, especially Croissants and Sourdough.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Hire, train, and supervise bakery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule and allocate tasks for bakers to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- **Recipe and Quality Management**:

- Develop and refine baking recipes, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Conduct regular quality checks and implement improvements as necessary.
- **Inventory and Ordering**:

- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, managing orders and deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Manage bakery equipment maintenance and liaise with suppliers.
- **Customer Service and Wholesale**:

- Work closely with customers and wholesale partners to meet their needs and expectations.
- Contribute to expanding our wholesale operations and explore new partnership opportunities.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all bakery operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery to uphold our high standards.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Head Baker or in a similar role in an artisan bakery.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and inspire a team.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, particularly for Croissants and Sourdough.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work early mornings and flexible hours as needed.
