**What you can expect from a day in this role**:
As the Food & Beverage Manager at Saffire Freycinet, you will take an active leadership role in overseeing the seamless delivery of all food and beverage operations, with a strong emphasis on creating exceptional guest experiences. This is a dynamic opportunity for a passionate, service-focused professional to lead and motivate our team, uphold the highest standards of quality and hospitality, and work closely with the culinary team to deliver unforgettable, world-class dining moments.
- Running the daily operations of our restaurant and bar in collaboration with the senior Food & Beverage team
- Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to create wine matching for meals
- Maintaining a strong presence on the floor, ensuring consistent, high-quality guest interactions
- Lead, train, and inspire the food & beverage team to deliver five-star service
- Managing all aspects of recruitment, rostering and performance management
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Developing departmental budget and business plan to maximise profitability and ensure contribution to property success.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Experience working in a luxury lodge environment or similar
- A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
- Excellent food and wine knowledge, with a passion for guest engagement
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A commitment to staff development and a positive team culture
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and evenings
- A proactive attitude and dedication to continuous improvement
- Reliable vehicle and driver's Licence (preferred, due to remote location)

Our staff have access to live in subsidised and fully-furnished accommodation in Tasmania’s breathtaking Freycinet National Park which is located only 10 minutes drive from holiday town, Coles Bay. You can also expect access to Wi-Fi, gym, entertainment and BBQ facilities at the employee accommodation site, as well as a complimentary meal on your shift.
