**Your new company**

Our client is a local council who are seeking an ongoing worker to work starting from their Queanbeyan depot.

**Your new role**

In this position you will work 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday. You will go out with another employee in the waste truck and collect and empty rubbish bins from parks and public areas. You will also be required to pick up rubbish on roadsides to keep areas looking clean and tidy and maybe also assist with operating the forklift in the yard to unload deliveries and maintain the depot by occasionally using the whipper snipper.

**What you'll need to succeed**

This role needs someone with a can do attitude who isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty You will be supplied with PPE but will need to be ok with consistently working with rubbish. Aside from having a good attitude and being reliable you will need;
- A drivers license and reliable transport to get to work
- A MR licence or higher is advantageous
- A forklift licence is beneficial
- The ability to spend most of the day walking and picking up /emptying bins

**What you'll get in return**

If successful you will be paid an hourly rate of $32.26 per hour plus super. You will have stable work hours in a long term position.
