Electrical Engineering Technician

Assembling, installing and testing electrical equipment and installations to confirm with regulations and safety requirements.
Diagnose and assess equipment and associated electrical component for problems and issues.
Carry out troubleshooting to minimise downtime and ensure electrical equipment is in quality satisfactory condition at all times.
Inspect and test all in service electrical equipment for personal safety and compliance with OH&S requirements at all times.
Installing assemblies for circuit protection for switchboards, relays, metering and indicating services.
Interpret customers schematic and wiring diagrams.
Carry out assembly, construction, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment facilities and distribution systems.
This is a full time role based in the Perth metropolitan area.
Qualification requirements: Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Qualification, and/or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications listed above. On the job training and experience may be required in addition to formal training. Recognized prior learning will also be considered.
**Salary**: $59,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
