**The Role**
We are currently seeking a Manual Lathe Machinist to support the completion of a key construction project in Rocklea, QLD. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in lathe operation and hydraulic component turning.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate manual lathes with full understanding of hydraulic cylinder components
- Perform general engineering tasks
- Set up jobs and conduct quality inspections
- Read and interpret detailed workshop drawings
- Program CNC machines using OneCNC or Fusion 360
- Edit existing programs and transfer or receive files
- Operate CNC machines including HAAS VF2, VF5, and Eumach 4mtr with Fanuc 31i model B programmable head

**Requirements**:

- Trade qualified machinist (certificate required)
- Proven manual lathe machining experience
- CNC programming and setup experience
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong multitasking, communication, and safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail and work quality
- No sponsorship available - must have full working rights in Australia
