**About the role**

After The Bell Aus Outside School Hours Care at **Weeden Heights Primary School **is looking for an experienced Qualified Assistant Educator to join our supportive and compassionate team at our OSHC childcare environment. Join the team and use your Certificate/Diploma or study qualifications to help nurture and support a rewarding program for school-aged children

**Salary**:
**Casual** work with a minimum of 6 hours per week and more hours in school holidays with an hourly rate range from $37+ per hour (depending on experience and qualification status) and superannuation additional to the hourly rate.
- **Must be able to work in the Before School Care (7am till 9am), After School Care (2.30pm till 6pm) & Vacation Care program between Tuesday to Friday (split shift allowance)_

**The duties, experience, and responsibilities include**:

- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment
- Ability and willingness to learn policies and procedures for the child care industry.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Complete and evaluate the daily/ weekly care routines and programs for individual children and groups.
- Build meaningful, trusting, and respectful relationships with children and their caregivers.
- Comply with and maintain company policies and procedures, National Framework and Education and Care Laws and Regulations.
- Able to deliver the program plan and menu to provide children with an engaging and fun daily OSHC.

**Skills required for the role**
- Certificate IV or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Industry approved qualification (Allied Health, Sport & Recreational, Teaching qualification)
- Current approved First Aid/CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (_HLTAID012)_ or willing to obtain before commencement.
- Working with Children Check (employee status 'E')
- Child Safe Certificate or willing to obtain before commencement.

**How to apply**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
