**About the business and the role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Australia's fast growing Freight Brokers & 3rd Party Logistics companies in Dandenong South.

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting client orders in our warehouse and properly preparing shipments to our customers. Position may also be responsible for operating a forklift & administration duties to support the needs of the business.

Reports to: Warehouse supervisor

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain order selection performance standards of speed and accuracy with minimum damage and high level of safety.
- Outbound: picking, packing, and dispatching orders for our customers
- Inbound: receiving, replenishment, and put-away of product
- Inventory: cycle counts, stock counts, and batch fixing
- General warehouse cleaning duties as required
- Must be physically fit to perform all duties in the warehouse
- Safety is a non-negotiable for you and you are able to adhere to Safe Operating Procedures
- You have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Preparation of labels and general administration duties
- Booking in freight using our transport management system
- Machship.
- Efficient and accurate data entry
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to work in a high paced environment

**Physical Requirements**

Ability to lift heavy items, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dandenong, VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
