We currently have opportunities for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join us on a Casual basis at our Pascoe Vale Home

**About the role**

As a Kitchen Hand you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service and food safety.

You will play an important role in committing to working safely within your team and promoting a positive outlook on the wellbeing of our residents.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program
- Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing
- Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards
- Understand and execute infection control initiatives

**What You Will Do**

- Understanding residents special dietary requirements
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Understand and execute infection control initiatives

**What You Will Bring**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (medium to large Kitchen)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Previous experience in Kitchen operations
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards
- Provide NDIS clearance, Rights to Work
