**Position Summary**

**The Position**
Positon Title: Lead Clinician - CAMHS
- Classification: NP81 - NP74; YC42 - YC45; YB20 - YB23
- Salary per hour (exc. super): $42 - $54 per hour dependent upon classification
- Hours per fortnight: Full time or part time negotiable
- Employment Status: Part-time, Permanent or Temporary on negotiation.
- Key Requirements: COVID -19 Vaccination

**Role Description**
- You will provide holistic, family centred, assessment, early intervention, clinical treatment and support for children / young people and their family/ carer (s).
- Identify, engage & collaborate with other key community agencies and service providers involved in the recovery, support and discharge planning consistent with the child / young person and their family / carer (s) needs.
- Work within a dedicated, supportive multidisciplinary team.

**The Team**
- The team is part of Bendigo Health’s Mental Health Department. Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) is a community based, multidisciplinary team that works with children and adolescents 0 - 18 years who are displaying serious emotional, relationship, personal care or behavioural disturbances that impact on family and social relationships and/or their functioning in school or the workplace.

**Selection Criteria**
- Essential : Current registration as Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist with AHPRA or; Social Worker - membership/meets the eligibility requirements for membership, with the Australian Association of Social Work. Post graduate qualifications in mental health related field or working towards same
- Essential : Knowledge and experience working with the Victorian Mental Health Act (2014), the Child and Young People Act 2008, amendments, and knowledge of relevant state-wide Psychiatric Service Frameworks Procedures and Guidelines and Bendigo Health policy and procedures
- Essential : Experience in child and adolescent mental health services or able to demonstrate an aptitude for such work
- Essential : Demonstrated commitment and experience in an integrated community based treatment model for people with a mental illness and associated complex issues
- Essential : Experience in liaising and consulting with relevant family members, team members, and a broad range of health professionals and community agencies
- Essential : Demonstrated evidence of participation in education and training to other staff, and commitment to ongoing professional development
- Essential : High level of organisational, leadership, communication and in
