Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently seeking a
** Senior Study Manager** to support our team in one of our industry’s leading battery metal projects.

Wood is at the forefront of engineering solutions for a net zero future. A key component of decarbonising the world is the Mining and Minerals Industry which supplies the critical minerals required for this revolution.

Wood is currently delivering critical metals projects (Battery and Magnet metals) all over the world, including Copper, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals projects.

This position is a full-time permanent role reporting directly to the Technical Director of Studies, where you will join a team working on major scale industry advanced projects both absed local and international in our studies team. Your role will be client interfacing, driving partnership and delivery through provision of technical direction, detailed engineering for the completion of study. This project will see you partner with a progressive and leading battery metal operator that has established an large scale depository that will develop their operations and region as a centre of excelleance as ethical supplier of battery and critical metals.

Skills / Qualifications:
**About you**

This position would suit Study Managers or Project Managers from an EPC or EPCM environment. The ability to comprehend whole of mine operations from orebody to market and the related technical and economic interactions within such systems is important.

With relevant qualifications in engineering, you will also have:

- Extensive experience leading and managing engineering studies.
- Knowledge of process plant design, construction, commissioning and operation and associated infrastructure
- Experience developing proposals, budgets and schedules for new studies.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix structure, liaising with and securing resources from functional heads and working groups
- An understanding of change management and the ability to translate this understanding into appropriate action
- Experienced in building positive and collaborative relationships both internal and external
