**The position**:
We are seeking experienced **cleaners**, to join our team at the **Queensland Children's Hospital.** If you are wanting to grow your skills and experience, this may be the role for you. Your day-to-day tasks might include:

- general hospital cleaning duties as required such as discharge cleaning, ward cleaning, collection of waste
- receiving work requests from our internal helpdesk team to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital
- use of carpet extractor and steam cleaning machines
- pressure washing of external surfaces and furniture
- use of floor scrubbing machines including walk behind scrubbers and ride on scrubbers (used mainly during night shifts)

**_Our cleaning shifts are 8 hours long - we currently have morning, afternoon, evening and overnight shifts available. We have both casual positions available and FT positions for night/overnight cleaners. _**

**About you**:

- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases, including COVID vaccinations
