MTP Services are seeking SharePoint Administrators to work within our Federal Government client for a 12 month contract with multiple extensions

Manage, monitor and troubleshoot SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online in line with security and change best practices.
- Migrate SharePoint on-prem sites to SharePoint Online.
- Create and contribute to design and security documentation for new solutions.
- Work with various technical teams to assist with implementing SharePoint components as part of complex solutions.
- Perform SharePoint site configuration, customisation and reporting.
- Assist the team in the deployment, management and troubleshooting of development infrastructure including VMs, software and DevOps pipelines/repos.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team including product owners, scrum masters, BAs, developers, architects and testers in accordance with stakeholder requirements and broader departmental objectives.
- Use a range of products to manage, maintain and develop the code base of systems.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; internal and external to the department.

The successful applicant must have three years of relevant work

experience and relevant technical skills.

Skills of interest include:

- Experience developing solutions for SharePoint, including PowerShell scripting.
- Strong hands on experience in SharePoint Online and On-premises administration.
- Expertise in SP installation, Configuration, Upgrade, Architecture, Migration, Content Management, Collaboration, Content Deployment and Features.
- Experience with React and/or Angular is highly desirable.
- Experience in recent versions of Visual Studio, utilising modern code analysis tools.
- Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps.
- Good knowledge of development and security best practices when delivering ICT solutions
