**Senior Business Data Analyst - Banking Risk practice** We are working with large banking customers managing their risk data programs that are focused on transforming risk related reporting by leveraging Cloud Data frameworks, modern technology and human centric design / service design principles. Program is ramping up its need of Sr. Business and Data Analyst to drive long-term business user change in self-service consumption of the risk reports. The end objective is to rebuild a number of current reports that exist today relating to risk reporting on cloud data platform. Typically, this will involve looking at the end report as it exists today, look at where the Data is coming from, trace its sources, map out the calculations, transformations and ensure that the future state risk reporting is transformed from where it is today. **Experience and skills required** - Mid/senior level experience in IT software project delivery or business / tech roles - 5+ years experience as an Agile project BA / Sr. BA - 2-3+ years of experience in Banking project as a BA. Out of this, at least 1 year in banking risk related exposure is required. It can be any aspect of banking risk (ops risk, credit risk) but we do need someone who knows banking risk at a high level - Some familiarity with Data analysis, particularly running basic SQL query to check the data source and mapping of where the data is coming from is required - Excellent written and verbal skills - the BAs and Data analysts will heavily be engaged in business meetings, facilitation / elicitation workshops and needing to change manage or influence business to think newer ways of risk reporting - Excellent ability to document analysis of reporting and its underlying layers for ex: excel or word documents that show the history of where data is being sourced and where it is originating etc. Further fine tune these documents with inputs from a variety of stakeholders - A go-getter, curious and analytically minded analyst who does not mind questioning the status quo and understands how to position constructive point of views without making it a conflict - Strong work ethics, self-initiated - someone who is not waiting for the instructions to delivery value - Past experience as a Data analyst, while not a MUST - will be desired - Background in accounting, risk, banking operations (Corp and Commercial) will be highly desired **Benfits to work with Client -** - Family Friendly and Flexible working arrangements - work here there or anywhere - Working on innovative project transformation works - Personal development to enhance your career > - Rewarding curiosity and collaboration > **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: Up to $130,000.00 per year Schedule: - 10 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Business Data Analyst: 1 year (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred)
