We offer a variety of courses, including General English and English for Academic Purposes (EAP), to help students achieve their academic and professional goals in English-speaking environments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Academic Management**: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the General English and EAP programs, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with institutional goals and standards.
- **Teaching Responsibilities**: Teach a combination of General English and EAP courses, adapting materials to suit different student levels and needs.
- **Curriculum Development & Evaluation**: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous review of the General English and EAP curricula to ensure it is up-to-date, engaging, and pedagogically sound.
- **Teacher Support & Supervision**: Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to a team of English teachers. Conduct regular observations and feedback sessions to enhance teaching quality.
- **Student Success**: Monitor student progress through regular assessments and feedback. Implement strategies to improve student outcomes, satisfaction, and engagement in both General English and EAP courses.
- **Administrative Duties**: Manage timetables, course materials, and ensure that course documentation is up-to-date. Assist with the scheduling of classes, exams, and other academic-related tasks.
- **Quality Assurance & Compliance**: Ensure that academic programs meet institutional standards and comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Regularly review and update teaching practices to maintain academic excellence.
- **Professional Development**: Stay current with trends in language teaching and EAP best practices. Participate in professional development activities and share knowledge with colleagues.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Educational Qualifications**: A Bachelor’s degree in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in ESL, with at least 1 year in an academic management or leadership role.
- **Strong Teaching Skills**: Experience in teaching both General English and EAP courses at various proficiency levels (A1 to C1).
- **Leadership Abilities**: Proven experience managing or mentoring a team of educators. Able to provide constructive feedback and create a positive, collaborative work environment.
- **Curriculum Design & Development**: Experience in creating, adapting, and evaluating English language curricula.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to interact effectively with students, staff, and administration.
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- **Technologically Proficient**: Familiarity with online teaching tools and learning management systems (LMS). Ability to integrate technology effectively into the classroom.
- **Student-Centered Approach**: A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting student learning and success.
