**About the role.**
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join our close-knit and dynamic Secure Monitoring Unit (SMU) team at OILECC. In this pivotal role, you’ll work under the delegation of the Inspector to inspect records from eligible authorities and law enforcement agencies across NSW. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring compliance with complex legislation governing telecommunications interceptions, surveillance devices, controlled operations, covert search warrants, and criminal organisation search warrants.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law or relevant industry experience in compliance and/or auditing is highly desirable
- You have a strong background in compliance and a solid understanding of relevant legislation (or the ability to quickly develop this knowledge)
- You are skilled in writing clear, concise reports that communicate key findings and recommendations
- You excel in building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

**Essential Requirements**
- **Relevant tertiary qualifications in law or relevant industry experience in compliance and/or auditing is highly desirable
- You hold a current Driver’s License and are willing to travel as required

**Salary**:Clerk Grade 7/8. Package includes base salary ($110,266 - $122,058) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
