About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to join one of our subcontractors. The role is an 18-month, full-time contract with the possibility of ongoing work.

Responsibilities would include the receiving of inward and outward goods to the project, as well as the safe storage of consumables and spare parts. It is a site-based role (with site-based hours), located in Bulleen.

The company is a leader in geotechnical solutions and has delivered industry-leading foundations and ground improvement solutions to the building, construction, and mining industries in Australia for over 60 years.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Record and track all deliveries in and out of the warehouse
- Receive materials physically on site, and assist with unloading and storage
- Update and monitor stock levels in dedicated software systems
- Work directly with the Site Administrator to restock consumables and maintain adequate stock levels on site
- Follow up deliveries with suppliers and maintain inventory register
- Prepare parts consumption reports with engineers
- Ensure a clean, organised, and safe storage environment
- Develop a strong and collaborative working relationship with the site team
- Prior experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Sound mechanical knowledge with a willingness to learn different types of equipment / tools
- A strong commitment to safety to ensure a zero-harm environment
- A construction industry white card

Advantageous but not essential:

- Forklift licence

**About Spark **North East** Link**

The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project.

The Spark Consortium’s Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.

The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.
