**About the Business and the role.**

**Engineering FX** is a manufacturing company based in Dandenong South, Victoria, servicing a variety of industries that include, Furniture, Medical/Health, Point of Sale, Architectural, Signage/Wayfinding, Garden Furniture/Outdoor Products and More

We have an immediate start for an ongoing role in our production based manufacturing workshop, this role will suit someone who is looking for fulltime, ongoing work with great renumeration, early finish on Friday’s and overtime as required.

The successful applicant must be Australian citizen, have Australian Residency or working in Australia permits, hand tools and PPE are supplied, someone looking for ongoing fulltime work with production background is preferred.

**About the Role**

**For the Right Person**, You will be responsible for Breakpress, and Machinery set up and operation for projects that require a wide range of experience in form Sheetmetal Fabricating (using Brake press, Rollers, Guillotine) through to Heavy Fabrication. Variety is the key word, in projects, metals and experience.

**Run your own section within the business**. You must be able to work with Minimal Supervision, Capable of prioritizing your work to achieve quality outcomes on time. You will have your own work area set up and to maintain with equipment required. We are looking for someone that will maintain existing processes, continually improve new processes, can work to priorities and deadlines, has strong mechanical aptitude with an eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.

**Skills and Qualification**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience using machinery such as Brake Press, Guillotine, Pipe Benders etc
- Able to read and understand drawings
- Able to work unsupervised
- Have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Basic computer skills preferred but not essential.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have the Right to work in Australia.
- Be able to work from drawings.
- Positive Attitude and physically fit.
- Ability to be flexible and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to interact with other team members and machinists in a professional manner.
- Ability to work in high paced environment.
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Essential to your success is a motivated attitude and ability to organise your daily tasks and work with minimum supervision.
