Horticultural Technician

About us

We are a hydroponic farm located in Carisbrook, regional Victoria. We have been growing Tomatoes for the last 22 years.

Now we are looking for a full time Horticultural technician to join the team. We strive to ensure all our team members enjoy their work and their workplace and we always ensure safety and workplace enjoyment.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Relevant qualification is desirable.
- Experienced in horticulture, especially tomato growing.
- Farm experience is important.
- Experience in Environment controlling computers.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Conducting registration on plant growth
- Evaluating plants for signs of stress, disease, or other problems
- Monitor irrigation taking samples to analyze nutrient levels and proposing changes.
- Conducting research to develop new plant varieties.
- Provide training where needed to plant workers
- Set parameters on environment computer for best growing condition.
- Assessing plant worker performance and suggest improvements.

- Competitive pay rate according to experience-$45000-$60000/year

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Carisbrook, VIC 3464: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
