**Support Worker/Mentor | Joondalup**
**Immediate Start | Urgent Hire**

**About the Role**:
We’re urgently seeking compassionate, energetic support workers in Joondalup for flexible, rewarding work with people with disabilities. This is an ideal opportunity for students or those with other life commitments, with shifts ranging from 2-4 hours and 2-20 hours per week, depending on your availability. **Start ASAP - all documents must be ready**

**What You’ll Do**:

- Drive the participant to appointments and general errands
- Provide social support and assist with daily tasks.
- Help clients get out and about, attend appointments, or try new activities.
- Support therapy plans as directed by allied health teams.
- Assist with light housework and meal planning,.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Someone with a reliable and insured vehicle (we reimburse kilometers $1)
- Compassionate, reliable individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Someone available at least 3 days per week, including 2 weekdays and weekends.
- People who love working with others and enjoy outdoor activities.

**Requirements (Must-Have)**:

- Cert III in Individual Support (or similar).
- NDIS Worker Check, First Aid & CPR, and NDIS Worker Orientation Modules (Online).
- Reliable vehicle and a full driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills and internet access for reporting.

**Desirable**:

- Studying or qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, OT, or similar.
- Lived experience with disability or mental health challenges.
- Knowledge of person-centred, recovery-oriented approaches.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
