Location: Narre Warren

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable **female support worker** for a female client

Key Responsibilities:

- First language is english
- Female only
- Aged between 25- 35 years
- Experience with Behaviour management
- Need to be consistent & punctual
- Medication administration experience
- Can work on the weekends every fortnight. Participant goes for respite and needs support during respite
- Experience with personal care
- Shift will start 9 or 10 am till evening and sleepover (weekend) required
- Assisting with meals & daily tasks
- Assisting with Community Access
- Encouraging and supporting the client to achieve their goals
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the client
- Participant loves music and live bands, doing activities and going for long drives.

Key Requirements:

- Experience with Cerebellum Hypoplasia,Epilepsy, Autism and intellectual disability
- Need to be punctual
- Valid Work with Children Check
- First Aid/CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Valid Police Check
- Valid car registration and insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy and understanding towards the client's needs

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Narre Warren, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
