Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our delivery of high-quality work within the oil and gas sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators.
We currently have an **EXPRESSION OF INTEREST** for highly motivated **Superintendents** to join our VIC Operations team, with both onshore and offshore opportunities available on a long term oil and gas contract.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements
- Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks.
- Communicate with client representatives on a day-to-day basis, to plan work keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.
- Identify and drive cost savings and safety improvement initiatives and report on lessons learned and completion/outcomes to the business.

**What you will bring**
- Australian recognised trade certificate
- Previous supervisory experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience working on a variety of projects and maintenance / turnaround works
- Ability to demonstrate planning and organisation skills with the capability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver a message effectively
- Dedication to the safety and well-being of your team
- A proactive and motivated approach
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite
- Proof of right to work in Australia
