**The Company**

Join a leading specialist service provider located in the heart of Brisbane CBD.

We're seeking a driven **Junior Financial Analyst** to assist through a busy period. Starting as a **6-month contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.** Enjoy the flexibility of work from home for two days a week, coupled with the convenience of the office's prime location - just a short 5-minute walk from public transport.

**The Role**

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you'll work closely with the CFO to analyse financial data, generate reports, and provide valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and data interpretation within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Collaborate with the CFO to analyse financial data and trends, including cleansing and consolidating data sets.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, translating data into actionable business insights.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling activities, leveraging your analytical skills to drive decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, ensuring accuracy and relevance in data interpretation.
- Utilise data visualisation tools to communicate insights effectively, enhancing understanding and decision-making across the organisation.

**About You**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
