**Job Summary**

Wormald is seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our friendly Bendigo team. Previous Fire experience is preferred, however is not essential.

Wormald has been designing, installing and servicing fire protection systems since 1889 and is an industry leader in providing fire protection solutions, with an excellent reputation and firmly established brand.

**The Role**

Our Bendigo team is currently seeking a Portable Fire Technician to join our service team to look after our client base in Bendigo and the surrounding region.

Your primary duties will include:

- Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards
- Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment
- Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship
- Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements
- Completing service records using smart device technology

To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have:

- Fire industry experience would be highly regarded
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent customer service and time management
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Good personal presentation
- Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection
- Good computer/smart device technology skills
