My client is a dynamic and highly skilled ground engineering and civil construction company, who are engaged with a wide range of projects from major infrastructure through to residential and commercial construction, throughout Australia. They relish the challenges of being involved with more complex projects and support this through their in-house design and technical teams.

**The Role**:
They are currently looking for a Diesel Fitter with a strong work ethic who is able to operate and oversee a small team, whilst maintaining a large fleet of machinery. As no two days are the same, you must be able to prioritise your workload and have excellent organizational skills. You will be predominantly based at their headquarters on the Gold Coast but must be willing to travel as required.

**About you**:

- **Certificate III Mechanical Engineering-Diesel Fitting**:

- **Advanced hydraulic and basic electric diagnostics of equipment**:

- **HR Truck licence**:

- **Motor Vehicle licence**:

- **Construction Industry Card**:

- **Physically fit and enjoy manual and practical work**

**The Role**:

- **Ability to keep accurate records through IMS compliance and computer literate**:

- **Undertaking internal servicing of plant and equipment nationally (if required)**:

- **Use your initiative to problem solve, with a good eye for detail and the ability to think on your feet**:

- **Stock management and re-ordering of parts and consumables**:

- **Create specialist equipment for ground engineering solutions**:

- **Passionate about getting the job done, whilst ensuring a safe work environment**:

- **Excellent team player, with a good sense of humour and even temperament**
