The Mai-Wel Group has been providing a diverse range of disability services to residents of the Hunter Valley for almost 60 years. What began as a group of local families coming together to provide education and opportunity to their children has today developed into a thriving business supporting more than 1,500 participants across seven Local Government areas.

**Description**:
Mai Wel Enterprises requires a qualified Boilermaker to support people with a disability to complete product orders for the local community.

This position is a permanent part time position 3 days a week 8am - 5pm.

Provide support and guidance to our participants and be engaged in meaningful opportunities for our participants delivering products to local business

Provide compassionate care and respect and be engaged in supporting employees completing products for sale.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Must be a qualified Boiler maker with experience

Have an understanding of person centred approaches and Active Support in order to work within the Disability Industry

Driver’s License

First Aid Certificate

Well developed written and verbal communication skills

Time management skills

Professional/Technical Skills

Sufficient practical experience in Boiler making

Proven ability to work unsupervised

Ability to work within an NDIS environment

Understanding of or experience working with persons with a disability - highly desirable

Required checks include Police check, WWC, NDIS WC, Reference, Medical and Full vaccination of COVID 19.
