We are seeking a passionate and organised individual to join us as a Bookings Leader Customer Service in our Community Centres and venues Team. In this role, you will oversee the booking processes for various facilities and services provided by HCC, ensuring seamless customer experiences and efficient operations.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Support the implementation, management, monitoring and review of the unit’s business systems, procedures and databases and provide relevant reports and feedback to the Leadership Team.
- Work with the broader team in the planning, development, implementation and review of customer service systems and procedures.
- Development of operational initiatives for the Community Centres and Venues. This includes identifying potential business opportunities, conducting market research, and analysing trends to support decision-making processes.
- Participate in a range of promotional campaigns to promote facilities for Community Centres and Venues including expos, trade shows, presentations, online / written campaigns, and tours to support business objectives.
- Support and positively influence staff to ensure behaviours align with Council values and compliance with organisational processes and procedures.
- Manage and supervise the bookings team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Oversee the scheduling and booking of facilities, services, and resources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline booking processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

**The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role**:

- Ability to plan, research, develop, implement and evaluate external and internal customer experience, and booking system strategies, plans and activities to achieve organisational objectives.
- Ability to foster a customer-centric culture across all areas and inspire a continuing commitment to the customer, by working with facility teams to establish ongoing training and development opportunities.
- The ability to effectively communicate and liaise with a wide variety of individuals and groups, including facility users, residents, staff, community groups, voluntary and commercial organisations and State and Federal agencies.
- Ability to operate with mínimal supervision and show high levels of initiative.
