Bread Baker

We are an award winning artisan gluten-free bakery with 3 cafes and supply bread to all Harris Farm stores. Our very busy HACCP certified business trades 7 days a week for take away, online orders, deliveries, catering, wholesale and more. With an immediate start, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Baker full-time to join our bread production team.

**Requirements & experience**
- Seeking an energetic team member with ideally at least 3 years experience working in a Bakery or Production kitchen making and baking bread or someone with Pizza dough/Chef experience.
- Confident with weighing up ingredients according to recipe, lifting up to 20kg, proofing bread, scoring bread, baking bread and monitoring oven bake times.
- Work rights for Australia required to allow you to work full time 38 hours per week, taxed for at least 12 months.

**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Working 5 days a week Tuesday to Saturday 11am-7pm set shifts.
- You will be working with our Head baker and baker to assist in making our Gluten-free vegan sourdough and brioche bread varieties for retail and wholesale production.
- Must look at production and calculate ingredients and timing for products to be baked andready for packing and distribution
- Familiar with using scales, mixers, proofers, bun rounders, dough dividers and commercial ovens.
- Keep track of ingredient levels and advise when stock is low to allow enough time to order more for production supply
- Cleaning, dismantling and storing all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, dishes, tins, floors, freezer and refrigerators
- Completing HACCP paperwork each shift to ensure product and ingredient traceability.
- Immediate start in Alexandria baking in our Revent trolley ovens.
