**Job Description**:
Ability Action Australia are continuing to grow our presence nationwide. In line with our growth plans, we are expanding the capacity of our multidisciplinary team in Sydney to provide life changing supports to more NDIS participants with the addition of a fully registered Psychologist who will lead a team of Psychologists.

We are looking for a tenacious and innovative Psychologist who has multiple years of practice at the fully registered level, coupled with demonstrated experience effectively leading other Psychologists in a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoriing a team of Psychologists who are delivering therapeutic supports to NDIS participants
- Managing a complex caseload of your own
- Conducting assessments and delivering psychological interventions to a caseload of pediatric and/or adult clients with a range of psychosocial, developmental, genetic, or acquired conditions including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, ASD, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury or intellectual disability
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
- Mentor your team to develop professionally
- Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance
**Qualifications**:
To be considered suitable you will have:
- Current full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
- Several years of experience as a fully registered Psychologist
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS ideally
- A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence based therapeutic interventions
- Demonstrated experience effectively mentoring other Psychologists
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
