We are seeking experienced care workers to join the team at Bethanie Illawong located in Hamilton Hill on a casual basis. Bethanie Illawong is a small and homely 39-bed aged-care facility. Bethanie Illawong offers great features to residents with their own hairdressing salon and wellness centre. Join our friendly team and become a part of the community

This role is currently being offered on a casual basis with a range of morning, afternoon and night shifts available.

Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

**About You**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (1x covid and annual flu)

**The Role**
- Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
