What will your day look like?
The Indigenous Business Bank Team Manager will play a key role in growing our Indigenous Banking proposition, leading a team of Business Bank Managers located across Australia. This team purpose is to support our existing Indigenous customers with a full suite of banking solutions in addition to acquiring and attracting new customer and community connections.
Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Bank Managers
Providing hands-on, tailored support that helps Indigenous Businesses access financial solutions
Building Indigenous Business relationships through listening and understanding to clients’ needs and by partnering with community organisations
Creating new relationships, and managing these both remotely and in person when you meet with clients
Working in a hybrid that that includes in the office, at home and sometimes in the locations where your clients are based

A demonstrated connection and passion to support the Indigenous Community
Excellent customer focus with genuine curiosity for understanding motivations and walking alongside Indigenous business to deliver solutions to support their business
Experience in developing new and existing authentic relationships
Ability to work autonomously, work with a team with proven analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Commercial Banking and/or Retail Banking experience will be highly regarded
An understanding of the political, cultural, and commercial landscape for First Nations People
Strong knowledge of financial statements and credit assessment skills incorporation (background of sound business lending)
Strong connections and an in-depth understanding of the growth and opportunity within the Indigenous Business Sector
Adherence to ANZ values, ethics and acceptable code of conduct and contribute to a customer-centric culture
