**Position: Automotive Restoration Technician**

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Restoration Technician with knowledge and passion for the old vehicles to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Vehicle Assessment**:

- Conduct thorough assessments of projects to determine the extent of restoration required.
- Identify and document mechanical, electrical, and structural issues for each project.

**Restoration Planning**:

- Collaborate with the restoration team to develop comprehensive restoration plans for the tasks and projects under your care.
- Provide input on the feasibility and timeline of restoration projects.

**Repair and Restoration**:

- Perform skilled restoration work on various automotive components, including bodywork, engine, transmission, and interior, with a focus on Land Rovers and air-cooled Porsches.
- Utilise a variety of tools and techniques specific to the vehicle to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Uphold industry standards and best practices for automotive restoration in the context of Land Rovers and air-cooled Porsches.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain detailed records of all restoration activities including photographs, measurements, and materials used.
- Create and update restoration logs for each project.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members, including painters, upholsterers, and mechanics, to achieve seamless integration of restoration efforts for Land Rovers and air-cooled Porsches.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:
**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical and technical skills are preferred, with expertise in Land Rover and Porsche systems being beneficial although not 100% necessary.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work for Land Rovers and air-cooled Porsches.
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques associated with old cars is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. It is imperative that you are able to work with other team members as this is a multi-layered and collaborative environment and requires all members to work harmoniously to complete the projects properly.

**Communication**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to explain restoration processes and progress for the projects to both clients and team members.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $93,881.28 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
