Swick Mining Services are seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join our Maintenance team in support of our site-based Operations in NSW.
The Role
**Duties are (but not limited to) the following**:
- Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipment
- Ensure all servicing, repairs and testing is completed and paperwork returned to scheduler.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs.
- Maintain underground drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Coordinate with teams, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless drilling operations.
- Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock
- Management of costs and quality of repairs being undertaken
- Daily completion report and submission of time sheets
- Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably underground
- Relevant trade qualification
- Basic hydraulic & electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds
- Effective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills.
- Current manual C Class Driver License
- National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and within a team environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety standards and hazard identification
- Attention to detail and time management
