**About the role**
Reporting to the Design Supervisor, the **Network Designer** will be responsible for delivering timely, cost efficient and quality network designs across multiple sites, through the Concept Design (30% design). Schematic Design (50%) & Detailed Design Report (typically 90%) as well as the Handover & Takeover process.

This is a **Permanent Full-Time** position and will be located out of our brand-new office in **Cremorne**, VIC.

Key Responsibilities:

- The Design of new and existing networks
- Meet the requirements, expectations and standards of the design work schedules
- Ensure design delivery to the prescribed KPI performance targets
- Ensure designs are to the prescribed quality standards
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of as-built data into relevant client databases
- Maintain effective working relationships with peer groups to achieve delivery standards
- Review Scope of Work and ensure all area personnel are aware of the scope and obligations under the contract
- Determine construction methodology
- Contribute to development of project quality, OHS and environmental management plans, all other technical procedures, inspection and test plans to ensure all engineering and construction aspects of the project are covered
- Ensure the Client’s requirements and obligations with respect to project reviews are understood by the construction team

**About you**
Ideally you will have at least 3+ years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within the Telecommunications / Construction fields and hold a tertiary qualification in Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering.

You will also possess the following skills:

- Understanding of Australian Design & Construction Standards
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD platform and or similar
- Knowledge of GIS related platforms, systems and tools.
- Ensuring design deliverables are well defined and communicated
- Stakeholder engagement skills of all levels
