Driver Trainer

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver practical and theoretical driver training for new and current drivers
- Conduct driver assessments, including onboarding and periodic evaluations
- Ensure all training aligns with company policies and Transport for NSW regulations
- Maintain accurate training records and provide feedback to management
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and customer service excellence
- Stay up to date with legislative and operational changes affecting driver performance
- Liaise with Operations and Compliance teams to address training needs

**Requirements**:

- TLIF0006 - Administer a fatigue risk management system
- NSW Driver Authority (current and valid)
- Minimum of a Medium Rigid (MR) license
- Demonstrated experience in professional driving and/or driver training in the bus or coach industry
- Strong understanding of fatigue management, road safety, and public transport regulations
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Availability Monday to Friday during operational hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate computer skills

**Desirable**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Previous experience in a training or compliance role
- Knowledge of Transport for NSW operational standards and accreditation requirements

Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chullora NSW 2190: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Driver Trainer: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- MR Licence (required)
- NSW Drivers Authority (preferred)
- TLIF0005/TLIF0006 (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
